In 2012, Lorelei met Curt and Maximus for the first time at an education program. Six years later, at the age of 12 her wildest dream of becoming a Rise Raptor volunteer came true. Lorelei has always foreseen a life working with animals. Because of her work with Rise Raptor, she has taken a special interest in birds of prey. She loves helping at education programs and in the hands-on training of the animals in our care. She’s studying to become a licensed falconer and is determined to continue her education and have a career that combines her passions: birds of prey, wildlife rehabilitation and education and environmental conservation. When she is not working with birds, Lorelei is a company dancer with Heidi Knight Studio of Dance. Return HOME.
